Our My Kitchen Table Baking Parties are all about getting hands-on, getting creative and having plenty of fun along the way! Children will learn real baking and decorating skills, experiment with buttercream and piping, and leave with their very own box of beautiful cupcakes to proudly take home.

No experience is needed — just an enthusiasm for cake, creativity and having fun!

Perfect for birthdays at home or private party venues.

We arrive with freshly baked cupcakes and everything your little bakers need to turn them into their own delicious creations.

We'll bring the cupcakes, buttercream, piping bags, piping nozzles, decorations and equipment — you provide the party guests and the table!

During their party, children will:

🧁 Decorate 6 freshly baked cupcakes each

🌸 Learn fun, beginner-friendly buttercream piping techniques

🎨 Experiment with different piping designs

🌈 Get creative with coloured buttercream, sprinkles and decorations

✨ Create their own individual cupcake designs

📦 Box all 6 cupcakes to proudly take home and enjoy

And, of course, there'll be plenty of fun along the way!

Party Numbers:

Our minimum booking is based on 8 children (€250).

€25 per additional child

Having a smaller celebration? Absolutely! Parties with fewer than 8 children are very welcome; however, the minimum party price of €250 still applies.

Larger parties can also be accommodated — simply get in touch with your numbers and we can discuss the best setup for your group.

Please note: This is a cupcake decorating experience only. All cupcakes are freshly baked in advance and brought to your venue. Baking does not take place at the client's home or venue.

Choose from two party experiences: we can bring the cupcake decorating party to you, or your little bakers can join us at My Kitchen Table in Mullingar for the full bake-from-scratch experience.

The Junior Baker Party

The Full Baking Birthday Experience — At My Kitchen Table

For children who LOVE to bake, this is the ultimate birthday experience!

Hosted at My Kitchen Table in Mullingar, this is a small, hands-on baking experience where children learn real skills, have lots of fun and get the satisfaction of saying: "I made these myself!"

Our Junior Bakers will:

⚖️ Weigh and measure their ingredients

🥣 Make their cupcake batter from scratch

🧁 Learn how to mix their batter correctly

🥄 Fill their cupcake cases ready for baking

🔥 Bake their cupcakes

🎨 Learn about buttercream consistency and colouring

🌸 Learn beginner-friendly piping techniques

✨ Decorate 6 cupcakes each

📦 Box their creations to take home and share

📖 Receive a recipe so they can recreate their cupcakes at home

And while our cupcakes are baking...

The fun doesn't stop!

We'll have a baking-themed game, quiz or activity while we wait for our cupcakes to bake and cool before the decorating begins.

A Small & Special Experience

Our Full Baking Birthday Experience is exclusively available at My Kitchen Table and is limited to a maximum of 10 children.

Keeping our groups small means every Junior Baker gets plenty of guidance, gets properly involved and has the opportunity to learn and enjoy the experience.

Party Numbers:

Our minimum booking is based on 8 children (€300).

Choose our Sprinkle Party. We'll arrive with everything needed for a fun, creative cupcake decorating experience at your home or chosen venue.

Have a little baker who wants the whole experience?

Choose our Junior Baker Party at My Kitchen Table, where they'll make, bake and decorate their cupcakes from scratch.

Either way, expect plenty of buttercream, lots of creativity and some very proud little bakers heading home with boxes full of cupcakes!

And the best part? It doesn't have to be cupcakes.

We'll help you choose the perfect bake based on the children's ages, interests and the time available.

Important Information & Terms
Bookings & Payment
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your chosen date. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the party.

Final Numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before the party. Once final numbers have been confirmed, we prepare and purchase ingredients and materials accordingly and therefore cannot offer refunds for children who do not attend on the day.

Minimum Numbers
Our Sprinkle Party has a minimum booking value of €250, which covers up to 8 children. Parties with fewer than 8 children are very welcome; however, the €250 minimum booking price still applies. Larger Cupcake Decorating Parties at external venues may be available depending on the venue and group size.

Maximum Numbers
The Junior Baking Party at My Kitchen Table is limited to a maximum of 10 children.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Parents/guardians must inform us of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements before booking. Our kitchen handles common allergens including gluten/wheat, eggs, milk, soya and nuts, and while every reasonable care is taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Adult Supervision at External Venues
For parties held at the client's home or chosen venue, a responsible adult must remain present for the duration of the party. My Kitchen Table provides the baking/decorating activity and does not assume responsibility for general supervision of the party or venue.

Venue Requirements
For parties held at your home or venue, a suitable clean table/workspace must be provided for the children, along with access to handwashing facilities. Any venue hire must be arranged and paid for by the client unless otherwise agreed.

Behaviour & Safety
We want every child to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Children are expected to follow safety instructions and behave appropriately around baking equipment and other participants. If a child's behaviour presents a safety risk or significantly disrupts the session, we reserve the right to ask their parent or guardian to step in.

Cancellations
Booking deposits are non-refundable. If you need to change your party date, please contact us as early as possible. Where possible, we will try to accommodate a date change, subject to availability.

Photography
Photos or short videos may occasionally be taken during My Kitchen Table events for promotional purposes.
