Workshop Description

Calling all budding bakers! Join us this summer for a fun-filled week of baking, decorating and delicious creativity at My Kitchen Table Junior Bakers Summer Club. Designed for children aged 8–13 years, this hands-on baking experience is perfect for children who love baking, getting creative in the kitchen, or simply want to try something new. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already loves helping at home, all experience levels are welcome. Over 5 fun-filled mornings, junior bakers will learn how to make and decorate a range of delicious baked treats including: 🍓 Vanilla sponge cake with fresh cream & strawberries 🍫 Chocolate cake 🧁 Vanilla cupcakes with buttercream swirls 🍪 Decorated sugar cookies 🍫 Chocolate brownies This is a fully hands-on baking camp, where children will bake, mix, measure, decorate and create their own delicious goodies under guidance and supervision. Each day focuses on fun, confidence-building and learning simple baking skills that children can easily recreate at home. At My Kitchen Table, the heart behind what we do is creating a warm, safe and welcoming environment where children can learn, grow and build confidence in the kitchen. Our workshops take place in my own kitchen — Real Kitchen : Real Skills - no commercial setup, no fancy equipment — just a real, home kitchen where kids can see that baking doesn’t have to feel intimidating. We want children to leave thinking: “If I can do it here, I can do it at home too.” What kids will gain from the camp: ✨ Confidence in the kitchen ✨ Creativity through decorating and baking ✨ New life skills and independence ✨ Teamwork and social connection ✨ Following recipes and instructions ✨ Pride in creating something themselves ✨ Delicious treats to bring home each day! From mixing and measuring to decorating and tasting, every session is designed to inspire creativity, encourage confidence and make lasting summer memories. 📍 Location: Knockdrin, Mullingar ✨Ages: 8–13 years ✨ Dates: 6th July – 10th July (Monday–Friday) ⏰ Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm (3 hours daily) 💰 Price: €155 per child ⚠️ Dietary Requirements & Allergies Please let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking. Please note baked goods may contain gluten (wheat), dairy (milk), eggs, and may contain traces of nuts. Spaces are limited to keep the experience personal and hands-on.
